::Chapter 2::

"Quick...call the doctor. Junsu…Junsu…are you awake? Can you hear us? Oh God, please let him be alright." Yunho, Changmin, Jaejoong and Yoochun speak at the same time.

The doctor rushes in with a nurse following behind him. He started to do a brief body check on Junsu.

"He is alright. Don’t worry. But I am afraid he might suffer from a temporary amnesia because of the accident. He knocked his head pretty hard on the steering wheel according to the girl who admitted him to the hospital." The doctor explained.

"She said that she found him with his head on the steering wheel. The car bonnet is all smashed up pretty badly. There are a couple of policemen waiting outside the door to take his statement. I suggest all of you go and have a small talk with those policemen." With that, he walked out of the room door.

"Oh my God, he is gonna suffer a temporary amnesia?!! Does that mean he will not remember who we are?" Changmin cried.

"Now…now…now…Changmin. I am sure he will heal soon. Just don’t worry too much about it, alright?" Yunho said soothingly to Changmin.

"Let's go talk to the policemen. We have to keep this a secret from the fans and the media. I don't want our fans to know about this incident and I don’t want the media to do any coverage on this accident. You know how the media will blow this out of proportion. Come on."

Slowly, four of them walked out of the room to let Junsu rest.

"Hi. I am Detective Sam and this is my partner, Detective Adrian. We have spoken to the girl who reported the accident. According to the doctor, it is her who called the ambulance too. Do any of you know what happened to your friend? Anyway, we found his cell phone on the floor of the car. We suspect that he is on the phone when the accident occurred." Detective Sam said.

"He was on the phone, you said?" Yoochun said.

"But neither one of us called him. I wonder who he is talking to when he crashed his car." Jaejoong said.

"I have a request. Can the police force keep this incident from the media? We do not want the media to get wind of this accident. Our manager is on his way here. Maybe you can deal with him when he arrives. Thank you." Yunho pleaded to the two detectives.

"Alright. We promise to keep mum if the media wanted to report on this accident.” It is Detective Adrian who speaks up this time.

"Have you contacted Junsu's parents?" Yoochun asked. He is very fond of Junsu and his family. He has been very worried since the moment the doctor announced that Junsu will lose part of his memory. He wants Junsu to get well soon because he has always treated Junsu like his younger brother.

Quick footsteps are heard around the corner. All four of them wondered who it is this time. They are so afraid that it might be the media. When they saw that it is Junsu's parents, they are greatly relieved.

"Where is Junsu? Is he alright? What happened? Why are all of you looking so sad? Come, Yoochun, tell me what happened." Junsu's mum asked.

"Don't worry, aunty. He is alright. Nothing serious but the doctor said he will suffer from amnesia. He might not remember us or what happened. Other than that, he is alright. We are still waiting for him to wake up. He is still sleeping when we arrived. Our manager is on his way here. Would both of you like to go in to have a look on him?” Yoochun said.

"Okay. Let's go in to see if he is awake." Junsu's mum said.

Yunho opened the door and one by one walked into the room. Just as they reached his bedside, they saw Junsu stirred. Slowly, he opened his eyes. But he doesn’t look excited to see them again. Instead, he stares at them curiously. As if he did not recognize who they are.

"Junsu, you are awake. Are you feeling alright?" Changmin exclaimed.

"Who are you? Do I know you? What happened? How is it that I am here in the hospital? Did I have an accident?" Junsu asked all of these questions in one breath.

"You don't remember? Oh gosh, he don’t remember what happened to him. He doesn't even remember who we are." Changmin starts to panic again.

"Calm down, Changmin. Your reaction will not help Junsu even a bit. Remember that the doctor said he will lose his memories temporarily. So don’t start panicking again, okay?" Jaejoong soothe Changmin.

At that moment, their manager walked in.

"Is he alright?" their manager asked.

"Who is he?" Junsu asked.

"You don't remember? I am your manager."

"Manager? I don't understand. Can someone explain to me what is happening here?"

Everyone in the room started to look at each other. Each not knowing how to explain it to Junsu. Just at the same time, the doctor walks in with his nurse.

"Oh, so you are awake. No wonder I hear such noise coming from this room. How are you?"

"I have to break a bad news to you. Be prepared for it."

"You are suffering from amnesia for a temporary period. Don't worry about it too much. Your memory will come back to you if you have enough of rest." The doctor explained.

He turned to Junsu's parents, the four boys and their manager.

"Please let him have enough of rest. Don't overexert his body or mind."

"I know you are the famous boyband, Dong Bang Shin Ki. So I know the workload you have to deal with. But we will keep your identity a secret. All of you don’t have to worry about it."

"If it is possible, take him to familiar places that he used to visit or back to where he grew up. It will help him recover his memory faster."

"That's all I can tell you. Don't stay too long. He needs his rest. See you again." With that, the doctor walked out of the room.

"Thank you, doctor. We promise we won't be long."

They stayed for a few more minutes before leaving. Their manager had gone off to talk to the detectives. The boys go home in the van that they came in.

"Oh no, we totally forgot about the girl who helped Junsu."

Suddenly, Jaejoong exclaimed.

"Quick, Yunho. Call our manager and tell him about the girl. Oh yeah, have him ask her to call us." Yoochun said.

"Okay." Yunho said.

After the talk with their manager about the girl, all of them sat silently throughout the whole journey back to their apartment. Each of them lost in their own thoughts
